	ASIA Pacific Classic Malaysia Invitational Regional Qualifier At the Emeralda Golf Club in West Jaya, our Singapore Pro Mardan Mamat finished tops in the two-day. The come-from behind triumph handed Mardan Mamat an automatic spot in the US$6 million CIMB Asia Pacific Classic, Malaysia, at the Mines Resort from 28th to 31st Oct 2010. Mardan will get the chance to rub shoulders with Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, KJ Choi, Tim Clark, Ernies Els, Camillo Villegas, Jim Furyk, Adam Scott, Luke Donald and Anthony Kim.

	The inaugural Handa Singapore Classic, which will make its Asian Tour debut in September, is fast-gaining momentum with the Singapore PGA and Singapore Golf Association throwing their support behind the island republic's newest professional golf event.
	The Handa Singapore Classic is the Tournament that is being sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and in conjunction with Singapore PGA, will be held at Orchid Country Club on September 9th to 12th 2010 and will fall under the annual schedule of the Asian Tour and the Singapore PGA

	SPGA March Circuit 2010 at Sembawang Country Club on 22nd to 23rd March 2010. Day 2 game of the SPGA March Circuit 2010 was abandoned due to inclement weather. The final result is based on score of day 1. The event is won by Murugiah with a score of 4 under par 68. Tieing at 2nd place are Mardan Mamat, Unho Park, Quincy Quek, Poh Eng Wah and Goh Kun Yang. 	Now Quincy Quek Peng Xiang is another flagbearer for Singapore on the ASIAN TOUR 2010. He finished joint-11th at the 2010 Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage and secure a full Asian Tour card for this season. Singapore PGA and Committees are very proud that Mr Quincy Quek turn pro in April 2009 and, with his remarkable achievement securing a full Asian Tour card.

	Singapore PGA President’s Cup 2009 Unho Park fired off five birdies on the back nine for a two-under, total 208 giving him a three shot victory over Quincy Quek who also shot a 69. Rookie Pro Justin Han third (214), Lam Chih Bing and Zaw Moe (216) tie-4. Senior Div. winner is Bill Fung , 2 Tie-runner-up is David Ng and Poh Eng Teck . Amateur Div. winner is Koh DengShan and 2 Tie-Runner-up is Jerome Ng and Marc Ong. Result Result
	7th & 8th September 09 SPGA Coaching Seminar 09 will be held at Sembawang Country Club (Function Room 8:00 am to 2:00 pm). Main speaker is David Milne from Australia will cover tropics for new coaches and less experience coaches. Using Technology coaching, practice drill and aids to accelerate the teaching technic. Dennis Tan will cover and refreshing all participant the knowledge and update of R & A golf rules. Calvin Goh- Physiotherapy for injuries sustained and effective treatment at work, sport and home with the advanced techniques and equipment.
	June Circuit 09 at Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong and Tanjong course SPGA president, Mr. M.Murugiah shot stupendous five under 67 to finish a stroke ahead of seasoned campaigner Mardan Mamat. Tie third is Lam Chih Bing and Andrew Welsford. Murugiah said that he played really good and he found all the fairways and his putting was above par. He was very really pleased as it was a very strong field with several Asian Tour regulars in it.
	April 09 April Circuit 09 at Sentosa – Serapong and Tanjong courses. Craig Mclean, Singapore PGA Associate member shot 133 Champion winner for the April circuit. Tie runner-up is Lam Chih Bing and Mardan Mamat. Winner for Senior Division is David Ng and runner-up is Bill Fung.
	March 09 Mercedes-Benz Master Singapore at Laguna National Golf and Country Club (March 2009) Mardan Mamat fired his second-successive three-under-par69 to move a stroke ahead of compatriot. Mardan Mamat lies on six-under for the tournament and is looking for his first win on the fledgling circuit which this year boasts nine events. Mardan said that it is nice to put two solid round together and looking forward to have a shot at the title. Mardan and Lam Chih Bing are partnered close friend in the World Cups in 2002, 2005 & 2006 had an exciting showdown between Singapore’s top two players playing the final two rounds.
	January 09 Accenture Champion of Champions Scott Barr chipped-in from off the green for an improbable birdie on the par-four 18th hole and shot victory to retain his Accenture Champion of Champions. Runner-up is Mardan Mamat with Lam Chih Bing and Zaw Moe share of third.
